About the MBW Gameâ„¢
The origin of the MBW Game™is the proprietary Segue Collective Intelligence Process™ which has been used to solve complex problems in business and non-profit organizations for over two decades, especially problems related to creating a vision that everyone buys into. The unique structure of the process makes available the combined intelligence of everyone involved.
The Segue Process is simple and easily adapted to any situation in which two or more people want to accomplish a shared goal, such as a family vacation that everyone enjoys or a couple imagining a fantastic night on the town.  Learn More
The purpose of the More Beautiful World Game™ is to engage people around the world in conversations that build a compelling vision of the world their hearts know is possible. In order to create heart-centered, vision-building conversations, the Game has two levels of activity—a game within a game—one personal and one global.
The goal of the game on the personal levelis to initiate conversations using three questions which connect the knowing of people’s hearts with the words of their minds in order to build a vision of the future their hearts know is possible. The game begins inside my chest.
The goal of the game on the global levelis to spread the three-question conversations to friends and acquaintances in other places. Then those friends can spread the conversations to their friends and acquaintances in other places who will spread the conversations ad infinitum. This is how an individual creates a personal global transformational movement.
About Robert Bystrom
In some ways, Robert’s life reflects a favorite comic character, Calvin, in that he asks Why not? and How does that thing really work? a lot. Inspired by Bucky Fuller, a giant visionary philosopher engineer of the 20th century, he always looks for what Bucky called the “trimtab,” which is a small rudder that moves the big rudder that turns the ship.Â
For example, in the complex role of being a leader, what is a small thing that can turn the direction of an company? The “trimtab” is to ask impeccable questions which will shift the thinking of the people involved which determines the direction of the organization. Learn more
An accomplished painter, known to many by his brush name, Newman Love, he was active in the Maui art community for many years. The artwork on this website is his.
Because everything depends on relationships, following his third divorce in the mid-nineties, he threw himself into solving some of Western Civilization’s stickiest and most painful questions, i.e. What is it about this culture that makes it so difficult for people to achieve lasting intimacy? and How is it that people actually connect? How do emotions really work? No theories allowed! Because people’s lives depend on knowing what has been hidden for eons.Learn more about the Seven Dimensions of RelatingÂ
Most recently, Robert has focused on the dynamics of thinking in organizations and how the phenomena known as collective [natural] intelligence actually operates, one outcome of which is the Segue Collective Intelligence Processâ„¢ which is the model for the More Beautiful World Gameâ„¢.Â
His home is in the Northwest city of Bellingham, Washington, near his children and grandchildren.
Why is the MBW Gameâ„¢ important?
Because playing this game can be an eye-opening experience. Its purpose is to ignite multiple networks around the world, networks of friends who welcome the opportunity to talk about possible future outcomes and to put into words a vision and a direction that arises from hearts and minds operating in tandem.
Because more and more of us are waking up to who we truly areand discovering we have been living within a limiting system of thought—an invisible matrix of separation. This matrix tells us we have little influence over the forces that shape our lives, regardless of our efforts. Millennia in the developing, the matrix presents a future of scarcity and struggle in which individuals are powerless and will never fully realize themselves.
I think of it as a tool for leveraging intentionbecause it gives people access to a level of intelligence they didn’t know they had.
